Dr. Andrew Harrison is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Cornell University. He opened the Lakewood office of Central Jersey Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center (CJSOC) in September, 1995, and soon after opened a part time office in Freehold, New Jersey. To convenience his patients, he has had part time offices in Howell and Long Branch, New Jersey as well. Currently, Dr. Harrison has a part time office in Manalapan at 225 Gordons Corner Road, Suite 2F. Dr. Harrison is the Chief of Orthopedics and a member at large of the Executive Committee at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood. He is also on staff at Community Medical Center in Toms River and CentraState Medical Center in Freehold.
The sports medicine fellowship led to Dr. Harrison's opportunity to serve as the team physician for many high school and college teams in the New York area. He also treated several professional tennis players who played in the U.S. Open. In 2000, he was team physician for the New Jersey Shore Cats of the United States Basketball League (USBL). Most recently, Dr. Harrison was the team physician for the Lakewood Blue Claws Minor League baseball team (single A baseball minor league affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies) from the franchise's inaugural season in 2001 through their 2006 championship season. He also served as team physician for Lakewood High School 2002 - 2015.
